Ross & Jamieson Hearing Consultants are a group of Independent Audiology Clinics operating in Edinburgh and Lanarkshire. Founded and run by Steven Ross, Glenn Jamieson and Steven Ross (yes, two Steven Ross’s), who are three friends and colleagues who have worked together in different guises over the last 15 years.
Alongside Anne Ross (the real leader), Steven, Glenn and Steven provide high quality Audiological services from their intimate bespoke clinics in Blackhall Edinburgh, East Kilbride, Morningside Edinburgh and Uddingston.

A registered nurse who’s career has seen her be part of specialist teams in places such as Scotland’s only heart transplant unit & The Marie Curie Hospice before moving into leadership in private rehabilitation.
In 2018 Anne made the move into Audiology working alongside her Husband Steven. Working 2 jobs and being super mum to 2 kids they built the highly respected Lanarkshire Hearing Centre.
In 2021 Anne graduated from Queen Margerate University with a diploma in Hearing Aid audiology adding to her Nursing Degree and English Language and Literature (Honors) Degree.
Anne’s positive outlook and genuine love for patients means she is a highly popular and sought after practitioner.
““Although I have my diploma in audiology my preference is in removing ear wax so that’s where you tend to find me! I love meeting so many patients and feel so lucky to have the responsibility to help people with their hearing. Something I am very proud of here is that we have a full range of expertise so we can really pin point your issue and diagnose you appropriately so we make sure you get the correct help.”
Anne is married to Steven Ross also an audiologist and has 2 children Alfie and Archie.

Being a qualified Audiologist for over 20 years, helping people hear better is all I know… and I love it! I have worked for some of the larger High Street chains including Boots Hearingcare, where I delivered clinical and technological support to other audiologists as the regional trainer for Scotland.
I then moved to the successful Independent Business Lanarkshire Hearing Centre, owned by Anne and Steven. I spent a fantastic few years in East Kilbride and Newton Mearns proving wax removal, hearing aid fittings and full audiological support.
As an East Kilbride local I have got to know so many clients over the years and I have been fortunate to have retained many as patients, whichever company I have worked for. Having an Independent clinic here is perfect… especially if I need to nip away for a round of golf!
Steven is married to his schoolteacher wife Lorna and has two daughters Lucy and Eilidh.
Glenn Jamieson - Director (MA, RHAD)

With 14 years of experience, Glenn brings a wealth of Audiological knowledge from both clinic based roles to senior management positions. He has operated within busy high street chains to intimate Independent clinics.
After military service Glenn embarked on his career in Audiology and is truly passionate about helping people. He believes that looking after our senses is essential to living a full and happy life.
“After so many years in management I am delighted to be back in clinic. There is nothing more rewarding than helping to improve someone’s quality of life through better hearing. Having seen the effects of hearing loss through family members and people I have talked to throughout my career, I feel an immense sense of satisfaction if I can help in some way.”
Glenn grew up a mere 800meters from the Ross & Jamieson Edinburgh clinic and still lives in Edinburgh with his family.

His career has spanned from audiology management within the corporate sector to building the hugely successful Lanarkshire Hearing Centre along with his wife Anne Ross.
Steven has also worked for the worlds leading hearing care manufacturer regularly traveling to Switzerland to gain valuable insight into the future world of better hearing.
Having served in the military and listened to one too many loud concerts Steven suffers from Tinnitus. He is passionate about helping people understand their tinnitus and find a way so they can manage it effectively.

We’re a technology-based profession so our job is never boring, there’s always new products always new research and always new and amazing ways to help people. It’s the most exciting industry in the world for me. I love it.”
