Eligibility for Home Visits
Home visit hearing tests are available to individuals who are unable to attend our clinic or who prefer an at‑home appointment.
All appointments are subject to availability and geographic feasibility. -
Booking Requirements
Home visit appointments can only be booked by telephone or through our online enquiry form.
A booking is not confirmed until you have received written or verbal confirmation from Ross & Jamieson Hearing Consultants. -
Service Area & Travel Limitations
We reserve the right to decline a home visit request if the travel distance is considered too far or impractical for our clinicians.
Decisions regarding travel distance are made at our discretion, taking into account time, safety, and scheduling constraints.
If a request is declined, alternative options—such as an in‑clinic appointment—will be offered where appropriate. -
Appointment Cancellations & Changes
If you need to cancel or reschedule your home visit, please notify us as soon as possible.
We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule appointments due to unforeseen circumstances, including clinician availability or travel conditions. -
Access & Environment
The client is responsible for ensuring safe and reasonable access to the property.
If the clinician is unable to safely access the premises, the appointment may be cancelled or rescheduled at our discretion. -
Fees & Payment
Any fees associated with home visit services will be confirmed at the time of booking.
Additional travel charges may apply depending on location. -
Clinical Limitations
Certain assessments or procedures may not be possible in a home environment. If this occurs, we will advise on suitable alternatives. -
Data Protection
All personal and clinical information collected during the home visit will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and relevant data protection laws.
